CWDM/DWDM OADM

CWDM/DWDM OADM (optical add-drop multiplexer) is a passive optical device used in WDM networks for adding one/multiple channels into single/dual fibers, or dropping one/multiple channels from single/dual fibers.

 

Optional Configuration:  (East and/or West)
   ---single fiber and single direction
   ---single fiber and bi-direction
   ---two fibers and two directions

 High flexibility, low cost, easy upgrade and amplification

 Passive devices, protocol and rate are completely transparent

 Provide customized services, including but not limited to number of channels, channel spacing (DWDM 200 GHz, DWDM 100 GHz, CWDM 20nm optional), package type and fiber type

 Apply to SDH/SONET, MAN (metropolitan area network), Optical Cross Connection (OXC)
