1x2 Single Mode FBT Splitter

FBT (Fused Biconical Taper) Splitter, also known as fiber optic coupler, is a device that realizes the distribution or combination of optical power among different optical fibers. It could split the optical power transmitted in one fiber into multiple fibers by a certain coupling ratio, or combine the optical power transmitted in two or more fibers into one fiber.

For example, when a fiber optic light beam is transmitted through the 1x2 20/80 Single Mode FBT Splitter, it will be divided into 2 beams, one of which is 80% of the original source and another is 20%.

The FBT Splitters are designed for power distribution and tapping in optical fiber amplifier, online monitoring system, PON (passive optical network), OCT medical imaging and CATV solution.

1x2 and 2x2 optical splitter are available in many split ratios, including: 1:99, 10:90, 20:80, 30:70, 40:60, 50:50, etc.
